"Always remind yourself that your track record for making it through your bad days is perfect." – Unknown
Such a simple quote, yet so powerful in shifting your mindset.
There’s something powerful about looking back. Every challenge, every failure, every moment where you thought, “I don’t know if I can get through this”, you did. You’re still here.
But here’s the part we often forget: if you’ve made it through every tough day so far, why wouldn’t you make it through the next one?
History is on Your Side
We spend so much time worrying about the future—about what could go wrong, about whether we’ll be able to handle it. But your past is proof. Every bad day, every setback, every tough season—100% survival rate. That’s not luck; that is undeniable proof of the resilience you have built over your time on earth.
It’s easy to downplay our own resilience. We assume that because something felt hard, we barely made it through. But the truth is, you did make it through. And that means you’re more capable than you think.
Shift Your Focus
Instead of fearing the next obstacle, try this:
Use Evidence, Not Emotion: Your past resilience is proof of your strength. Treat it like data.
Stop Predicting Failure: If every bad day so far hasn’t broken you, why assume the next one will?
Trust Yourself More: You don’t need to have all the answers—you just need to know you’ll figure it out.
Fine
You’re going to be fine.
And even if you are not going to be fine, isn’t it best to exist thinking you’re going to be fine until it’s not fine? Then when you are not fine, you can just handle it then.
There is no sense in ruining right now worrying about a potential future problem.
Final Thoughts
The future will bring challenges. That’s a given. But if you bet on yourself—on your ability to adapt, endure, and overcome—you’ll win every time.
The track record speaks for itself. Trust it.
